Our Approach to Privacy

Page Us is a real-time restaurant paging system. We do not collect personal data for tracking or advertising, and we do not build profiles of you. The app only processes the minimal information it needs to let diners page staff and to let staff respond.

Information the App Handles

• Guest name and table number — entered by diners so staff know who is paging and where. Stored locally on your device and sent to the restaurant's server only to deliver the page.
• Staff User ID — used by attendants to sign in and receive pages. Assigned by the restaurant's admin.
• Location — used only to check whether you are within the restaurant's area (geofencing). It is checked on your device in real time and is not stored as a location history.
• Push notification tokens — registered for staff devices so attendants receive alerts (which can mirror to a paired Apple Watch).

How Information Is Used

The information above is used solely to deliver the paging and notification features of the app — sending a page from a table to staff, alerting attendants, and confirming requests are handled. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Third-Party Services

To make the app work, we rely on a small number of service providers that process data only on our behalf:

• Expo Push Notification Service — delivers alerts to staff devices.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — converts a restaurant's address into map coordinates for geofencing.

Data Retention

Guest names and table numbers are kept only as long as a paging request is active and may appear in the restaurant's call log for operational purposes. Names and table numbers stored on your device are cleared automatically (for example, at the end of the day or when you leave the restaurant area). Push tokens are removed when staff sign out.
